The cool, crisp air of fall along with the changing shades of falling leaves all signal the beginning of the holiday season. I can’t even believe that it is only 1 week away from Halloween, crazy!. We thought this would be the perfect week to treat you to some of our ideas for maximizing fall fun, while at the same time giving you some tricks for staying stylish during every activity. VISIT A FALL FESTIVAL 

Fall festivals are always a fun way to expose yourself to some down home, local flavor and an excellent excuse to indulge in those carbohydrate rich treats we do not allow ourselves anywhere else; can you say funnel cakes and deep fried oreo’s? When venturing into a haunted house, perusing a pumpkin patch, or opting for amusement park pandemonium one thing is for sure; comfort is key. You can’t go wrong in a chic pair of skinnies, a cozy sweater, and ankle boots to keep you warm, also this outfit makes it easy to outrun any ghosts or ghouls that may cross your path.

BAKE EVERYTHING PUMPKIN

Now is the time to bake everything pumpkin. From breads, to pies, to cookies, to candy, to coffee, pumpkin is IN. We love The Bitter Side Of Sweet’s pumpkin popcorn balls. They’re perfect for children and adults this season.

INGREDIENTS

6 cups popcorn
1 (8 oz.) bag pumpkin spice marshmallows
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup chopped pecans.

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large microwavable bowl. Melt marshmallows for 1 minute on high.
Stir. Then add in cinnamon and stir again.
Add in popcorn and stir.
Coat hands with cooking spray or butter and roll popcorn into balls.
Sprinkle with pecans and ENJOY!

(7) LEOPARD PRINT

 The power of the spots is immediate: They can make the laziest outfit seem intentional. Leopard print has been around for decades, from Josephine Baker and Jean Harlow in the 30’s to Eartha Kitt and Bettie Page in the ’50s, and in the ’60s, it was Mrs. Robinson in “The Graduate” and Edie Sedgwick in Andy Warhol’s Factory.
