RESORTWEAR: My Favorite Breezy Attire

I have recently discovered that as the recent holiday weekend comes to an end, more and more people are beginning to set sail towards their cruise destinations.  But before they embark on their travels, they all search for two things: Resort wear and sunscreen! With the rapid increase of humidity, we are all in need of some new loose and breezy attire.  This versatile fashion is perfect, from the pool to the country club, it is flattering on everyone.

As the stormy North-Eastern weather continues to put a damper on my vacation, I am starting to enjoy the rising summer temperatures. So yes, when the occasional appearance of the blaring sun appears, we welcome it with open arms.  From my personal experience, the only thing that keeps me cool in 90°+ weather is my favorite print maxi dress and just in case my tunic tops are always nearby.

As Google states resort wear is not only a summer favorite but is worn by those of us during the year who escapes the cold winter months.  Whether you’re in fall, winter, spring or summer this stylish fashion gives off a classy nautical vibe that we all crave!  Check out our new Wild Thing Cut-Out Halter Swim Suit paired with our Tangerine “Cabana” Cotton Crochet Tunic for your new pool favorite.

Resortwear Tunic

Tunic tops are a timeless way to dress up a skirt or pants.  This tunic is made out of satin which gives it luster and fluidity.  Here it’s shown with a white skirt, perfect for lunch outdoors or perusing the local shops.  Complete your resort wear outfit with cat eye sunglasses by Persol to get an iconic Hollywood style.

Hale Bob Dress

Cocktail parties, candlelit dinners, and night clubs…all things to look forward to at a resort.  Be ready with a Hale Bob dress that gives new meaning to the term “little black dress”.  Ruffles at the bodice and hemline are a playful touch and the silk fabric has a luxurious feel.  Give this strapless dress a splash of color, add an Abstract Graffiti Scarf by Anthropologie.

Print Maxi Dress

You’ll feel bright and sunny in this print maxi dress.  A resort has a variety of choices of how to spend your day.  Take a boat tour with that special someone and then head to the spa for some alone time.  This maxi dress is versatile to wear to both.  The knit fabric is always flattering and with a pair of Blue ‘Spark’ Crystal Embellished Thong Sandals by Betsey Johnson, very fashionable too.

Halter Swimsuit

Even though this year’s summer trend is the one-piece bathing suit, it’s hard to stray too far away from our beloved bikinis.  That’s why I love our very chic animal print suit with side cut-outs that nips in at the waist giving you an hourglass shape.  This halter swimsuit has a deep V neckline with an attractive ring to add to its fashion at the pool or keep you confident when braving the waves.

Resortwear Crochet Tunic

A feminine crochet tunic is an attractive cover after a day soaking up the sun.  Pair it with a bold statement piece like a Treska Single Row Chunky Bracelet and some skinny jeans for an evening look.  This tunic is a great double duty addition to your resort wear collection.
